As we near the deadline on our med spa design, there have been a few modifications to make the presentation the best that it can be!  The logo has been streamlined to better represent the color palette, as well as getting a new font.  We have also designed and rendered perspectives of two separate areas within the spa to represent materials and finishes.

Hilton Head Haven: Guest Bedroom

The style for the guest bedroom takes on a more modern feel than the other areas of the home.  The furnishings are colorful, with a coastal feel and the fabrics are fun and contemporary.  For this look we have used Somerset Bay Home and Picture Source artwork to bring in the colors that are desired to produce a coherent design.

Hilton Head Haven: Custom Closets

The Anderson's have requested a personalized design and custom built closets for their master bedroom.  Their personality, design style, and special requests have been taken into consideration when making selections. 

For "her" master closet, we have chosen an elegant, classy design style.  There will be ample space for longer garments, such as dresses, shorter garment racks, along with shelves and storage for smaller accessories and undergarments.  We have used a black finish on the custom cabinetry along with "Mayanne" wallpaper from Phillip Jeffries.

For "his" master closet, a more masculine design has been implemented.  There are ample shelves and cabinets for storage, along with four separate garment racks for hanging items such as suits, shirts, and casual pants.  We have used a dark wood finish along with "Rivets" wallpaper from Phillip Jeffries as the wall treatment.

Master Bedroom Retreat

As we continue the design for "Hilton Head Haven", we move along to the master bedroom.  The master bedroom will serve as a retreat and will evoke the essence of relaxation through the layout and color palette. The floor plan allows for comfortable seating which is perfect for reading or just getting away at the end of the day, with windows surrounding the space that give the owner's that much desired view of the ocean.

How Does Personality Affect Design?

Did you know that your personality has an effect on your design style?  We have based our clients office and living areas on the Jung personality test, according to their results.  They scored "INFJ" which means introversion, intuitive, feeling, and judging.  These results would lead us to design a space that has ample room for a group, while also providing individual space or space for only a couple of people.

As you can see, the living room has been designed with a large group seating area in front of the fireplace, along with a separate seating area near the french doors.  This provides an individual space for more intimate conversations, giving the option of pulling the chairs into the group when desired.  The office area is much the same way.  There is an individual desk for work, while there is also a separate sitting or reading area provided by a pair of wingback chairs.  Then, for group interaction, we have included a game table.  These spaces provide a variety of social opportunities.

Hilton Head Haven: Foyer Selections

For the foyer of our "Hilton Head Haven" Home, we will implement a few simple and inviting pieces.  Upon entering, there will be a traditional runner from Capel Rugs that brings in our color palette and lends a coastal feel.  Also, we have a Newport console table in a butter pecan finish, along with some savvy mirrors to contribute the transitional look we are going for.  The wall treatment will be created by implementing custom moulding work and finished off with Benjamin Moore "Smoke" paint.
